Guided Tour of E2db Server

Once your website visitors have entered information into a web form and pressed the submit button, that information is emailed to your company email address.

What is a web form?

Your web form responses arrive as emails, which without E2db Server, must be manually copy / pasted into the company database for storage and/or processing.

What are web form responses?

E2db Server runs on your computer and consumes very little system resources so the computer it runs on can be used as normal. E2db Server can be set to start automatically when your PC is turned on and hide itself, so it is only visible in the system tray.

E2db periodically checks the email account you specify (the interval can be set). When it finds an email, it passes it through its SPAM filter and if it passes, it is processed. The information is then extracted from the email and posted to any database of your choice. E2db can then be set to trigger an action such as an alert of a successful post or it can run an application. Click here for more information.

E2db can post information to any ADO database such as Mircosoft Access and SQL Server. In fact any database that has a ODBC or Jet driver.
